Specifications of Galaxy J1 Successor Leaked

Samsung Galaxy J1 is a decent entry-level smartphone, and comes with a budget-friendly price tag. The handset is targeted more towards the developing countries and has received some success.
It seems the company’s is working on a successor of the Galaxy J1. Thanks to a new leak, we now know some of the specifications the alleged device has to offer.
It’s not just the specifications, a Twitter user Sleak also revealed an image of the alleged Galaxy J1 (2016), which looks quite similar to it’s predecessor. As for the specifications, there are a few bumps here and there, boasting a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels with the processing handled by Exynos 3457 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system.

Previous rumors hinted that the handset will come with 4GB of internal storage, 5MP main camera for photos and videos and a 2MP front-facing camera. There’s no word about the launch, but it seems we may get to see the handset in the coming weeks.
We’ll update you as soon as Samsung officially announces the Galaxy J1 (2016).
