Unlike M33, the new processor ARM Cortex-M23 is designed specifically for devices that require the lowest possible power consumption. So it will ensure longer battery life, and the rate is left in the background. The first companies that have shown interest to use its processors in smart gadgets are Analog Devices, Microchip, NXP, Nuvoton, Renesas, Silicon Labs and STMicroelectronics.
