Samsung Galaxy A9 Price for China Leaked

Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A9 smartphone in China. As usual, the company didn’t reveal the pricing and availability of the device

There’s no word about the exact availability, but a leaked screenshot reveals the price tag the SamsungGalaxy A9 is expected to carry in China.

As per the leaked screenshot, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 is expected carry a RMB 3,199 (around $490) price tag when it launches on Chinese shores. There’s no word from Samsung about the official pricing so we’ll recommend a grain of salt.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with an excellent set of specifications, boasting a $6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system. There’s 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card support of up to 128GB, a 13MP camera for photos and videos, an 8MP front-facing camera and a massive 4,000mAh battery to make sure you don’t run out of juice.

Samsung Galaxy A9 to carry price tag of around $500

When the Galaxy A9 smartphone was made official by Samsung in China last week, its pricing and availability details weren't revealed. However, thanks to new info, we now have an idea about the price tag the device will carry in the Asian country.

A leaked screenshot , which was shared by a user on Weibo. It reveals that the handset will cost RMB 3,199 in China. For those doing the maths, that's $495 at the current exchange rates.

For that price, you get a smartphone powered by Snapdragon 652 (which used to be SD620) and sporting a 6-inch (1080 x 1920 pixel resolution) Super AMOLED display. RAM is 3GB, while internal memory stands at 32GB, although it's expandable.

A 21MP camera is at the back, while an 8MP snapper is on the front. There's also a large 4,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on. The Galaxy A9 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, with planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow).

Samsung Galaxy A9 Gets Certified By TENAA

We have already heard that the Samsung Galaxy A9 appeared at the FCC and now the handset has recently turned up at China’s TENNA, which is the equivalent of the FCC.

Samsung recently launched three new handsets in their Galaxy A range and the new Galaxy A9 is expected to launch soon.

The handset is rumored to come with a 6 inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the device will be powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor.

Other rumored specifications on the handset include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of included storage, the device will also come with a microSD card slot which offers support for 128GB cards. There are also dual cameras on the device.

On the front of the handset there is an 8 megapixel camera for selfies and on the back there is a 13 megapixel camera for photos and videos, the device will come with Android Lollipop. The handset will apparently be available in a range of colors which will include gold and white.
