Six new technologies that will make batteries better

1. ORGANIC BATTERIES

A team of researchers from the University of Maryland believes the oak leaves may become part of the new battery technology better than lithium of the future. The battery is one millimeter thick and uses a conventional lithium-ion technology. Unlike typical batteries, it is surrounded by a degradable polymeric material that can be disintegrated in water.

6. SALTWATER BATTERIES
