Chinese hardware manufacturer Chuwi has announced a new addition to their range of tablets with the unveiling of the new Chuwi Vi8 Plus Windows tablet, that comes supplied running Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 operating system and is priced at just $100.
As you would expect a few concessions have been made to reach this affordable price point and theWindows tablet is fitted with a 8 inch IPS display offering users a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
The Windows tablet is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 quad-core processor supported by 2GB of RAMand comes with 32GB of eMMC internal storage and a 4,000 mAh battery.
Other features of the tablet include a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 2 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs. As well as microSD card slot, micro HDMI port and connectivity provided by 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Chuwi Vi8 Plus Windows tablet measures 8.3 x 4.9 x 0.4 inches and weighs a little over 12 ounces and is available to purchase from the like of the Banggood website for $100 or from Geekbuying priced at $98.
