While you won’t see it any Apple Watch manuals or user guides, apparently there’s a body part coming in especially useful for owners of the preeminent smartwatch.
A Wall Street Journal report catches up with Apple Watch connoisseurs who’re using their noses rather than digits to control the device.
46 per cent of users polled by the Wristy research firm claimed they had used their use as an input device, while 28 per cent wanted to give it a try.
While precise data input won’t be possible using one’s hooter, it seems to be proving useful.
This new fangled way to go hands-free is coming in handy (excuse the pun) for turning off alarms and dismissing notifications while wearers' paws are full, dirty, or bundled up in gloves.
Some users are reporting opting for nose control while showering or visiting the bathroom.
“My nose was dry and I was surprised that it worked,” said Wristy’s Bernard Desarnauts. “I was almost expecting that it wouldn’t.”
Have you discovered an extra use for the nose other smelling, resting sunglass and erm… eskimo kisses? Share your thoughts below.
