Fitbit acquired new fitness app FitStar


Last fall Fitbit announced just three gadget, and the company recently made a step towards improving the training provided by a handheld device. Manufacturer trackers bought FitStar, an application that provides personal training video for mobile devices.


Now, users can publish their FitStar training in the application Fitbit. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the site TechCrunch reports that the deal is likely to cost $ 25-40 million in cash and stock.


FitStar platform is known for its specialized training based on what you want to achieve. For maximum effect, users can transfer their training on Apple TV.


Memberships FitStar will cost you $ 8 per month or $ 40 per year.


Interestingly, the FitStar support Apple HealthKit, and Fitbit – no. It is not known whether FitStar loses support HealthKit or maybe, Fitbit to join this platform. Third embodiment, however, not given.
