Intel is going to seriously improve brand mini-PC (known to the public as NUC). Moreover, the developers did not wait for “leaks” and told themselves about future innovations.
The first improved model – NUC5i7RYH – will be released in 2015. She will get a more powerful chip with a powerful graphics core.
The basis of the device will be the CPU Core i7-5557U with quite remarkable TDP of 28 watts. An excellent result for such a compact solution.
The same platform will offer a built-in video accelerator Iris Graphics 6100. That surpasses the “past” like generation Intel HD 5500.
Judge for yourself. GPU boasts 48 execution units and a maximum clock frequency of 1100 MHz level.
NUC NUC5i7RYH equipped with a seat for the solid state drive (or the more traditional 2.5-inch hard drive). Available Mini DisplayPort, 7,1-channel audio, support up to 16 GB of RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
Still have 4 ports USB 3.0, NFC and HDMI. As the operating system is easy to use any platform – from Linux to Windows 7 (and older).
