In mid-autumn 2015 Camelbak company plans to launch a new three-liter drinking system MilSpec Antidote Lumbar Reservoir, as well as two new models of field backpacks compatible with this unique drinking system, backpacks get names and Skirmish Rubicon and become part of a specialized line of military tactical gear Maximum Gear.
Tank MilSpec Antidote Lumbar Reservoir is based on the model of the civilian version of Antidote Lumbar Reservoir, but it meets military specifications. The main difference from the basic model MilSpec Antidote is solely in the form of three-liter tank, which is designed to be worn in the belt area, which in turn should have a positive impact on the balance and distribution of the total weight of the backpack.
Design backpacks Rubicon and Skirmish with a total useful volume of about 47 and 33 liters, respectively, provides a separate compartment under a new drinking system, which is placed under the lumbar pillow, as well as general-purpose main compartment, organizer, several internal mesh pockets and universal mounts under side pouches.
On the external side compression straps are located, ranks PALS-slings, transport handles, adjustable shoulder straps with chest jumper and a fixing belt. Backpacks made of Cordura nylon material new with rip-stop and armouring density 500 denier.
The announced new equipment should appear in October 2015, while the cost remains unknown.
