Last week in the city of Sao Paulo, located in Brazil, Motorola introduced a smartphone Moto MAXX, which is actually a full copy of the previously shown little Droid Turbo except the reference to the operator Verizon. It was logical to assume that the Moto MAXX becomes global version, but it seems that joy was somewhat premature.
After finally complete the transaction for the acquisition of Motorola’s Chinese giant Lenovo, once there is information about the expansion of the list of countries where you can buy official products from Moto. According to unconfirmed rumors, the list of these countries have been hit with Russia and Ukraine, however, over time, the enthusiasm seems a bit diminished. To date, the most likely scenario is considered to be a full-scale output on the markets of Western Europe and, if successful, only then leadership Lenovo will think in sales in our countries. Again, it all yet not been officially confirmed by the company, despite our constant questions.
Moto MAXX is not such a global
What was unclear, however as it is not clear so far, it’s exactly what the model will expand the range of markets in which they were present. Lenovo after the completion of the transaction owns the rights to the trademarks of Moto X, G Moto, Moto E, and Moto Droid line 360, so that it would be logical appearance of any of them.
Returning to Moto MAXX, which is the top smartphone company not owned operators, apparently waiting for him outside of Latin America in the near future will not have to. This information should be in the official twitter Motorola in France. Originally stated that Moto MAXX should not expect in France, but after clarifying question turned out that the smartphone will not come at all in Europe.
AndroidPIT_FR Ce ne sera Smartphone malheureusement pas disponible en Europe!
- Motorola France (Motorola_France) November 7, 2014
The literal translation of the tweet sounds like “Unfortunately, this smartphone will not be available in Europe.” The news is not happy, because the device has turned really worth seeing.
It is difficult to guess the reason why Motorola decided to abandon the European market. It can range from difficulties with logistics to prioritize markets. It is possible that for Europe and all will be presented separate version, but this scenario seems just too fantastic and improbable.
Apparently, the company Moto MAXX still prefers to systematically explore new country first captivated their very successful Moto E, Moto G and possibly, Moto X with Nexus 6. A pull more expensive and less profitable units will the success of the “first wave”.
