Almost immediately after the presentation Galaxy S5 began to appear on other talk, an improved version of the South Korean leader. And rumors of this information has become the company’s official announcement. More – below.
Yesterday in Korea was introduced Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A (another fine example of choosing a name), from which it becomes clear that the device supports LTE-Advanced, then there is a very high data rate – 225 Mbit / s, to be exact. But this is not the only difference from the original version of the machine.
It is also reported that the smartphone has a 5.1-inch QuadHD Super AMOLED screen. Thus, Samsung again becomes “most-most” in your device implementing the clearest screen with pixel density of 576 pixels per inch. At LG G3, by the way, this figure is “only” 538 ppi.
In addition to the display, the device has the following improved features: 805 Snapdragon processor with a frequency of 2.5 GHz, Adreno 420 graphics chip and 3GB of RAM. For the rest, it’s all the same smartphone with 16 megapixel camera, which is still considered by many as the best mobile camera, protected from moisture and dust to IP67, fingerprint scanner sensor heartbeat, battery 2800 mAh, Android KitKat (although not specified – 4.4.2 or 4.4.3) and all the same back cover.
While we can not answer for sure whether Galaxy S5 LTE-A the very Prime-version, which passed around so much talk, but specifications say that’s about it. However, there is space for doubt.
First, the only smartphone announced for Korea, so it is unknown how Samsung will go to other markets. And secondly, a reliable source of leaks @ evleaks already managed to publish render Galaxy S5 Prime (or Galaxy F) with a gold metal back cover. According to rumors, the company is preparing the launch of “premium Galaxy” to the iPhone 6, expected in September.
What do you think if you need a version of Prime-metal housing or improved performance enough?
