This month share Android 4.4 KitKat reached 1.1%

Mobile operating system Android 4.4 KitKat was introduced by Google about a month ago . And so, on the resource Android Developers has information on the prevalence of this and other versions of Android.

So, this month OS Android 4.4 KitKat took 1.1% market share. The most common version is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with the index 37.4% market share. Second place with 24.1% market share already occupies an old version of Android 2.3.3-2.3.7 Gingerbread. On the third place is the OS Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, its market share is 18.6%.

Further, by decreasing, there were the following OS versions:

• Android 4.2 Jelly Bean – 12,9%;


• Android 4.3 Jelly Bean – 4,2%;


• Android 2.2 Froyo – 1,6%;


• Android 4.4 KitKat – 1,1%;


• Android 3.2 Honeycomb – 0,1%.
