nVidia is preparing to enter the tablet market with models of its own design

nVidia behind Google and Microsoft intends to engage seriously in the production of “iron” under its own brand. First, it showed the console Shield, and in the future, most likely, will release a number of tablets.

In any case, the internet has got a couple shots “tablets”, as identified by the nVidia Tegra Tab (or Tegra Note – According to other sources). This device is built on the platform Tegra 4 will receive a 7-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera, HDMI port, and possibly, 3G-modem.

But that’s not all. In 2014, nVidia reportedly plans to ship a 10-inch tablet, which will be based chipset nVidia Tegra 5.

However, it may very well be that nVidia still will not sell the described devices under its own brand – they will become the reference model for other companies that are allowed to use the brand Tegra Tab. Such an experience, nVidia is already there: in Russia sold a number of plates of local brands, created with the participation of U.S. companies and based on chipset family Tegra.
