One of the largest Indian manufacturer introduced its new flagship smartphone – Lava Xolo Q1000S, which though has a rather attractive design, could not get the title of a top communicator abroad. In our view, it’s only a “middling”, even with a good performance for its price.
Lava Xolo Q1000S equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display, made using the technology of OGS (no air gap) for a more vivid and saturated colors, quad-core processor from MediaTek with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz and 1 GB of RAM, the basic 13-megapixel camera with the BSI sensor and LED flash, front 5-megapixel camera, 16 GB of internal memory and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system (according to the press photos, with no skins).
According to the manufacturer, the smartphone battery capacity of 2500 mAh battery should last for 53 hours of music playback, 327-425 hours of standby time and 12,5-22,5 hours of talk time (the bottom bracket is given for 2G-network, and the second – for 3G). The cost of Lava Xolo Q1000 was 19,000 rupees, or about $ 300 and will go on sale in India in the next couple of weeks. It seems to us, is not so high price for the thinnest smartphone with a thickness of 6.98 millimeters, which some may even seem stylish, but outside the country gadget makers, as usual, will not buy.
