GameStick is a small video game console , which is not bigger than the USB- stick. She just need to insert into the TV ( to port HDMI), and then start playing on the TV in the game for the Android using Bluetooth- controller that comes bundled . Stick itself when not in use, can be stored in the controller.
Initially planned to start shipping the device in April , but the release was delayed several times . Developers say that in September to begin deliveries supported the project on KickStarter. This week , new data on GameStick – Bluetooth- controller for the console appeared on the website FCC.
GameStick based on the CPU Amlogic 8276 -MX Cortex-A9, has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory. Mini console supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Device is controlled by custom version of Android, and developers plan to provide technical support for media center software , including XBMC, as well as wireless broadcasting of media content via DLNA.
If you do not support the project on KickStarter, you can pre-order the device on Amazon or GameStop. Both stores say that the console will be available on September 30.
