AMD Temash single-chip system were presented in May 2013, but they can not yet boast a wide spread. It is on these processors decided to bet Asus, preparing for the announcement of a mobile PC Vivobook X102BA.
According to the resource SweClockers, “kid” will touch 10.1-inch diagonal screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels, SoC AMD A4-1200, contains two processor cores with a frequency of 1 GHz and a GPU Radeon HD 8180 with 128 general purpose processors. TDP of this system is only 3.9 watts.
In addition it is known that the device will be equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 320 GB HDD. Version will also be available with twice the amount of RAM and 500 GB hard drive.
Despite its modest dimensions, the laptop will receive three x USB (one of which is USB 3.0), connectors HDMI, VGA and Ethernet, as well as adapters Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0. The battery capacity will be 22 and 33 Wh, depending on the configuration, which, according to the source, should be enough for five hours of battery life.
Another feature will be preinstalled software package Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013. The expected cost of the device is 380 euros. On the shelves Vivobook X102BA will appear at the beginning of the school season – that is, in September.
