Samsung will bring to Las Vegas at CES 2015 a whole range of curved monitors, as well as special LCD panels for use in restaurants, hotels, offices. However, while the Korean vendor disclose information only about one model – the flagship Samsung SE790C.


Samsung SE790C – curved computer monitor with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. It will be available and the modification with a diagonal 29 and 34 inches. It is known that a major modification was the display with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. The level of static contrast ratio reaches 3000: 1, Brightness – 300 cd / m2 and viewing angles horizontally and vertically – 178 degrees.


Among other things mentioning features Picture-by-Picture (PbP) and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) 2.0. The first allows you to connect to the monitor, the two devices – for example, a computer and Xbox One or notebook computer and network player – and display images with them in parallel (good display area allows). Thanks to the second option, the monitor can display a picture from the second device in a separate window.

We also know that Samsung SE790C has four USB 3.0 ports with fast charging external devices and a pair of 7-watt speakers.


Add that Samsung is also preparing a similar type monitor SE590C, who will receive the display with a diagonal of 32 inches. Moreover, on the way to the counters are a few more curved monitors that “will make a massive form factor” (read – will cost money sane). About them very little is known: SE510C model will be offered in versions with a diagonal of 24 and 27 inches, and 27-inch TD590C can act including as a TV.
