Sony has introduced a wireless headset WH series with built-in stereo speakers and MP3-player

Sony has now expanded into a family of Walkman headphones with two new models WH series. However, these devices are very difficult to name just wireless headphones. In either configuration also includes a MP3-player and stereo speakers with support for xLoud and Virtual Phones.

The older model NWZ-WH505 has 16 GB of internal flash memory type, while the NWZ-WH303 got only 4 GB, which is enough to store 1000 different tracks. The device supports codecs MP3, WMA, AAC-LC and Linear PCM.


According to the manufacturer, frequency response model NWZ-WH505 is from 5 to 25,000 Hz, and a sensitivity index reaches 105 dB. For a younger model similar characteristics stated on the level of 30 – 20 000 Hz and 107 dB, respectively.

Nominal impedance Sony NWZ-WH505 is 40 ohms, and the model NWZ-WH303 – 30 ohms. On a fully charged battery when playing music, both models can work up to 20 hours.
