Cubi: mini PC from MSI 150 USD


The market of compact desktops rapidly expanding. Their innovations punctually announce leaders like Gigabyte, Intel, and Zotac.


Other companies also do not sit idle. MSI recently introduced an interesting model called Cubi.

Advance orders of the mini-PC can already draw. Basic version will cost $ 150.


MSI engineers have come up with not one, but three versions. All are equipped with 64-bit Intel chips based on the architecture Broadwell. Processors created on 14 nm technology.

The junior version is based on the Celeron 3205U with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. “Average” assembly (200 USD) Pentium 3805U uses 1.9 GHz.

Cubi allows you to install up to 8 GB of RAM and connect the 2.5-inch drive. Support mSATA available. There is Wi-Fi 802.11 at, Bluetooth 4.0, RJ45 LAN, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, outputs for microphone and headphones. Plus 4-port USB 3.0 (two on the rear panel and two on the front).


As OS features Microsoft Windows 8.1, Windows 7 and Linux.
