The Swedish company employees implanting chips under the skin, so cool?


The staff of the company Epicenter, which is engaged in high-tech development, received an offer to implant in the hand a small RFID-chip.


Microchip the size of a grain of rice will be used for personal identification of employees at the entrance to the office, corporate dining and access to the workplace. The procedure for implanting the chip resembles a regular subcutaneous injection, and make it specially invited professional tattooists.


Implantation of chips is not compulsory for the 700 employees Epicenter office in Stockholm. Interested parties can continue to use the familiar RFID-cards. However, the company’s management hopes that such a high-tech workers imbued with the idea in the spirit of the company and opt for convenience.
