Philips has announced a DJ M1X-DJ sound system with support for iOS-devices

At the international exhibition IFA-Berlin 2013, Philips announced the audio M1X-DJ, designed specifically for the iPhone and iPad. The device is created with one of the most popular DJs in the world Armin van Buren.


Philips M1X-DJ – it’s not a speaker system in the conventional sense of the word, but rather a DJ mixer with speakers and a slot for the iPad and iPhone, which are using the music application Algoriddim djay 2 The details of the mix, and multiple controllers, allowing to work with the music. When the device is not without its analog “chips”: there crossfader, channel faders, the required set of buttons, potentiometers and jog shuttle – they complement each other.

The following console are located sufficiently powerful diffuser 80W, customized to the club sound. The system can operate in stand-alone mode for 5 hours.



Of course, this is not a professional DJ mixer, but rather a toy or a not too expensive way to learn the art of DJ mix at home. In the sale M1X-DJ arrive in November for about 400 euros.
