Lenovo has developed a 13.3-inch ultrabook, which is twice as thin MacBook Air

According Yesky, the thickness of the prototype portable laptop is 9.7 mm. It is almost half as thick MacBook Air and matches the thickness of modern smartphones. Laptop weighs just 990 grams.

The model is based on the latest processor Intel Haswell, the body is made of carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP), and the skeleton – a magnesium alloy. The screen resolution is an impressive 3200 x 1800 pixels. Ultrabook is equipped with a built-in GPS and a camera with face recognition.

On the timing of the sale of the the world’s thinnest laptop, yet unknown. The source did not specify whether Lenovo plans to bring the prototype to the stage of commercial production.
