Apple updated the iMac one-piece Intel Haswell processors

2013-imac Apple has quietly updated its popular one-piece computer iMac, which were submitted almost a year ago.


The base for a younger model is a 4-core Core i5 (2,7-3,2 GHz) for high – a 4-core Core i5 (3,2-3,6 GHz). The surcharge iMac with a screen diagonal of 21.5 inches can be equipped with a 4-core CPU Core i5 (2,9-3,6 GHz), and is paired with a video card NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 1 GB of video memory, and a model with 27-inch screen – also 4-core Core i5, but running at a higher clock frequency (3.4-3.8 GHz).


The graphics subsystem of both models with screen sizes of 27 inches is a video card NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M with 1 GB of video memory.


Another improvement of the updated iMac – communication adapter Wi-Fi 802.11ac implementation and support PCIe-drives.


By default, all equipped with the updated iMac 1TB HDD. As an option, have the option of replacing the HDD or SSD to use two drives: SSD of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB HDD 1TB or 3TB (ligament Fusion Drive).


Among the interface connectors is worth noting two Thunderbolt port and four-port USB 3.0. Appearance and other characteristics of the candy bars remain the same.


The cost of new Apple iMac starts at $ 1,299 and $ 1,799 – for the base model with a screen diagonal of 21.5 and 27 inches, respectively. For more powerful processors in both cases you will have to pay another $ 200.
