LG Vu III - a smartphone with a display 4:3

Most modern smartphones have a wide-screen display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 3:2, but the company LG has in its arsenal a line of smartphones Vu, equipped with a display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.


Last year, the Korean manufacturer has released a smartphone LG Optimus Vu II (pictured), which has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels and is currently working on a new “advanced” model Vu III, which will be equipped with a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280×960 pixels.


It is expected that the new device will use Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 800 and have a 13-megapixel camera. In other words, it is an analogue of the flagship LG G2 with the “square” screen.


It is expected that the new smartphone from LG will be showcased at IFA, which will be held in September. The cost of the new device and the timing of its release for sale information yet.
