Despite the strong start of the new Moto X smartphone , the device is about to change the balance of power in the ecosystem Android, rather than take away customers from Apple. This opinion was expressed by analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray.

In a note to investors about the possible impact represented by Aug. 1 smartphone Motorola Moto X on the sale of iPhone, the expert noted that the new phone “is not something radically different than the same Galaxy S4 or HTC One, to change the existing state of affairs in the market.”

The plans to create a smartphone Moto X Google representatives told in May. That’s when they made it clear that Google is working on a device which aims at to compete with Apple. And some media really teaches Moto X, as “killer» iPhone.

The smartphone runs on the operating system of Android 4.2.2 (not the latest Android 4.3), is based on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with a frequency of 1.7 GHz and has 2 GB of RAM. The equipment also includes phone 4.7-inch AMOLED c resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels and two cameras: the basic 10-megapixel and 2-megapixel front. Both allow you to shoot HD-video in 1080p.

The phone supports cards nano-SIM. The first device is compatible with this standard, was the iPhone 5. The gadget also has a voice command control system that works even in sleep mode (one has only to say «Ok Google now»), and QuickCapture technology for ultra-fast shooting without pressing special keys and the menu – this phone is a little shake.

But perhaps the most important difference from the iPhone is the large number of colors Moto X, allowing each customer to “create” your original phone: 2-color front panel, 18 – and 7-colored rear inserts. In addition, you can order customized with rear panel. It is for the variety of colors and the presence of an open OS novelty foreign journalists dubbed “the first true anti-iPhone».
